As the founder of The Crist Team, Julie is an established Real Estate Broker and licensed REALTOR® who has helped hundreds of clients find the perfect home over the years.
Buying or selling a home or investing in property can be a complex and overwhelming endeavor – that’s why Julie is there to walk you through every step of the process. Whether looking to purchase a first home, sell an existing home, or expand a portfolio of investment properties, she's here to help.
Like many of you, family is the heart of her life. As a resident of the Hampton Roads area for more than 25 years, she has lived and worked in various cities throughout the Tidewater area – both on the Southside and on the Peninsula. She's watched her children, and now grandchildren, grow up in the area and have very deep roots in our community. She enjoys helping clients from all walks of life and economic backgrounds achieve their dreams of homeownership, and is proud to say her clients are a part of our Crist Team family.
As a leader in the industry and top producer for over 15 years, I recognize and value the trust my clients have in me and I look forward to working with you.
Leah's degree and background in sociology and psychology help her relate and understand clients on a deeper level. Real estate is not about just finding or selling a home it is about understanding areas, being an expert in your community, listening to others' needs, creating relationships, and giving customers the best experience possible. She considers herself a “people person” and helping people is a passion.
Leah was raised in Hampton and is now raising her family in Poquoson and considers herself an expert in the Peninsula area. When not wearing her real estate hat, she enjoys designing and redecorating her own home, reading, traveling, and being a mom to her two beautiful and busy girls.
From relaxing on the beach and finding nature trails and state parks, to shopping in Williamsburg and taking the scenic route through Surry and camping on the Eastern Shore - some of her happiest times have been spent soaking up everything that life in Coastal Virginia has to offer. Her passion for the area she lives in, her genuine need to help others, and her obsession for all things real estate creates an informative and painless transaction for her clients.
Alison Thompson is a Brit who is thrilled to be a REALTOR® with RE/MAX Peninsula. Before joining the Crist Team, she worked in a number of different industries holding positions from an office manager in the UK to a financial data analyst in the industry. She married a great guy while working in Frankfurt Germany…and over a 30-year Air Force career, they moved 18 times which led to a continuous need to change careers and adapt.
The most rewarding position she's held in her 30 years as a military spouse was as a spouse mentor. She had the privilege of meeting and speaking with spouses to help guide them through this challenging and unsettling way of life. With integrity and commitment, she often relied upon her problem-solving skills to empower spouses to make important decisions with confidence for themselves and their families.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children and fur babies in the beautiful Williamsburg area that they have been fortunate enough to retire to and have called home for the last 6 years. She love hiking, cycling, hanging out at B2, or her new favorite obsession, playing pickleball with wonderful friends and neighbors.
Meghan Garrity, Transactions Coordinator for The Crist Team RE/MAX Peninsula. She organizes properties and associated documents in our office. Although she is one of the newest members of the team, her role is vital as she keeps everyone on track so we can meet our deadlines. Meghan is enthusiastic to be a part of a wonderful group of strong, independent, and professional women! She cannot wait to help the team excel in providing expert and quality assistance to clients when buying/selling a property.
Meghan’s professional and personal philosophies align; “work hard and enjoy what you do”. In her professional time, when not working with the team, Meghan also works at the Virginia Living Museum as a Horticulturist. There, she maintains the grounds and exhibits while raising awareness of Virginia native plant species. The museum grows and nurtures over 100 Virginia native plant species, some even rare in the wild. In her personal time, you can find Meghan curled up under a blanket, with her cat, a movie, and a hot cup of tea. She is a classic homebody but also loves hiking, gardening, and most other millennial pastimes. Like her philosophy, within both her professional and personal lives, Meghan truly enjoys what she does.
